• “ Hey everyone! Well, only two people showed up to last night's Meetup, but two is much better than zero, so congratulations on that. I to add at least one person each month. With this goal, we'll be up to nearly a dozen by the end of the year. The one thing I noticed was that there are often other events happening at Border's the may or may not coincide with ours. For example, last night, there was a band on at eight. This could be of benefit to us in the future, should that we like to chat for an hour or so, then sit back and enjoy some fresh music. Or, depending on your tastes, it may interrupt the meeting by hindering our conversations. If I can, I will get a hold of a program, or call and ask, about any such special circumstances. Anyway, I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on the issue of meeting time. I only pushed it to 7:00 this time because of unique circumstances on my part. I do think it is a great time, however, so unless I hear differing opinions, I'm going to go ahead and stick with the same meeting time for next month. Further, I'm considering creating a -second- meeting day, but somewhere nearer the northeast side of town. People who choose to attend both events could then magickly meet-up twice a month. It may also provide some with a greater chance of attending at least one or the other, since they will be at different times, on different days of the week, and in different parts of town. More on this as things develop. Finally, depending on how things go, I plan on hosting a Magickal Bar-b-Que slash pool party early this summer. My wife and I have a pool and deck, so there is plenty of room. I will also be inviting a group of diverse pagan/occult/etc friends who reside up in Fresno down for the weekend, so it would be a great chance for you to meet some amazing individuals who walk and live many different paths. They are great people, and are the "real deal" so if you want to come and learn, ask questions, share ideas, or just make some great out-of-town connections, this would be a great opportunity to do so.
